PRIVACY POLICY FOR SKYPOINTER

This privacy policy governs your use of the software application SkyPointer ("Application") that was created by Gerhard Buder ("the Developer") for the Android operating system. The Application is intended to provide visualizations and predictions for Sun, Moon and other related astronomical objects based on your location or a location provided.

1. Personal data

The Application does not have a registration process and no information is provided by the user upon use of the application.

SkyPointer will not collect your personal data, whether name, e-mail, telephone number, etc. In addition, the Application may collect certain non-personal information automatically, including, but not limited to, the type of mobile device you use, your mobile operating system, device language setting, and information about the way you use the Application,

including crash reports and device location. This information will be used, in aggregate, for the express purpose of understanding application usage patterns which help determine what areas of the application to improve.

Automatically collected information is shared with Google Analytics, an analytics subsidiary of Google to provide anonymous, aggregated analytics on application usage as described above (https://www.google.com/analytics/terms/us.html).

2. Camera usage

android.permission.CAMERA permission is used only to receive camera preview images used in app augmented reality module. No image or any kind of video is recorded/stored/sent to any server.

3. Location data

When you visit the mobile application, we may use GPS technology (or other similar technology) to determine your current location as part of the Application's core functionality. If you do not want us to use your location for the purposes set forth above, you should turn off the location services for the mobile application located in your device settings or in your mobile phone settings and/or within the mobile application.
